| NOTE: It has come to our attention that spam email is being sent with various "olpg.org" addresses forged as the "From:" address. WE ARE NOT REPONSIBLE FOR THIS EMAIL FLOOD. There is an email server on the olpg.org name (it has not been compromised), and the traffic on it is 99.9% incoming. No legitimate email is sent from any address at olpg.org other than "webmaster@" and "info@", and those are only used to reply to incoming emails. This web site supports a San Francisco, California area prayer group and we have no need to use mass emailings as we meet weekly. If you know who is forging our address we would appreciate it if that information was sent to us.

"Let us be very grateful to the Madonna
because it was She who gave us Christ! When passing before an image of the Madonna
one should say: 'I greet you, oh Mary. Greet Jesus for me' " -- Saint
Padre Pio
This site is dedicated to the
Immaculate Heart
of Mary & the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
May we, like Mary, hear the Word of God and put it into practice.

- The Real Presence Association founded
by the late Father John Hardon, S.J., is a nationally focused apostolate promoting perpetual
adoration (including an up to date state-by-state directory of perpetual Adoration chapels... when was the last time YOU stopped in to pray other than Sunday Mass?).
One of his best writings on the Real Presence is
The Real
Presence and Perpetual Adoration. Fr. Hardon was a prolific writer, click here for the full archive listing of his articles. This collection is full of treasures.
Saint Anthony Mary Claret said "The faith I have when I am in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is so strong that I find it impossible to express what I feel... When the time comes to leave, I must force myself to overcome the inclination to prolong my stay with Jesus..."
St. John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Order, wrote: "Do you want many graces? Go and visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Do you want few graces? Visit the Blessed Sacrament rarely. Do you want none at all? Then never pay a visit to the Blessed Sacrament."
In his encyclical, "Redemptoris Mater," delivered on March 25, 1987 , Pope John Paul II wrote: "The piety of the Christian people has always very rightly sensed a profound link between devotion to the Blessed Virgin and worship of the Eucharist... Mary guides the faithful to the Eucharist."
Bishop Fulton J. Sheen once said "As a man must be born before he can begin his physical life, so he must be born to lead a Divine Life. That birth occurs in the Sacrament of Baptism. To survive, he must be nourished by Divine Life; that is done in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist."
St. Pius X made it very simple: "The safest way to heaven is holy communion."
The usage of the term "Catholic" on the pages at this web
site follows both traditionalist and that of the Second Vatican Council, which defines
the Catholic Church as the church "governed by the successor of Peter and by the Bishops
in communion with him." (Lumen Gentium, 8).
