MESSAGE FROM OUR BLESSED MOTHER TO CARLOS LOPEZ
February 16, 1994 (Ash Wednesday)

Dear Children,

Thank you for being together with me, once again, by means of the Holy 
Rosary. I come very sad this night. My little ones, the pain of a 
Mother is indescribable, especially when her children do not want to 
listen to the pleas of a Mother - pleas of conversion.

Dear children, the mothers who suffer for their children know my pain-
the pain of a Mother is beyond explanation. I come to ask you, my 
little ones, to pray with the heart - to pray more, especially the Holy 
Rosary. Never give up. Did you know that the work of my enemy is to 
confuse you, to discourage you, to place doubts in your hearts?

Do not let yourselves be defeated by my enemy. Dear children, pray, 
pray, pray, without ceasing.

You have started, my children, Lent. It is time to come closer, 
intimately to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, you once again together with 
me, you will remember His passion, death and resurrection.

Dear children, you must know that nowadays, my Son is hung from the 
Cross, crucified and maltreated due to the sins of the world. His 
wounds multiply day to day, due to the sins, sacrileges, and 
indifferences of many of my children - their souls are on a thread of 
damnation. To you I ask to pray for them in a special way. I plead with 
you to become intimate with Jesus and promise Him a total change in 
your lives-not only for this Lent, but for the rest of your lives.

In these days, I would like to ask help from you so that there may be 
more to unite themselves to the suffering of my Son and of your Blessed 
Mother. God needs more suffering souls who can work to help for the 
salvation of the souls of all the sinners. Remember that all you do be 
for the greater glory of God.

I will answer many petitions during Lent, especially by means of 
meditation of the sorrowful mysteries of the Holy Rosary. You will 
receive many graces and many blessings. I bless the religious under my 
feet - I touch them with my blessed hands and to you I leave the love 
and the peace of the Lord. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, 
and of the Holy Spirit.
