Message from Our Blessed Mother to Carlos Lopez March 15, 2000 St. Bruno's Church, San Bruno, CA Dear Children, Praised be Jesus! Thank you for having accepted my invitation of this night. Now that Lent has begun, I come to invite you to do much penance, many acts of mortification, fasting, and sacrifices. Jesus, for forty days and forty nights, fasted in the desert. He was also tempted by satan in many ways, but He never fell into sin. For forty days and forty nights, He prepared Himself for what was ahead in His short life. For forty days and forty nights, He prepared Himself to carry the Cross due to the sins of the world. He prepared Himself to die on the Cross, where He would pour out His Most Precious Blood out of love for humanity. He prepared Himself for forty days and forty nights for the resurrection on the third day - and in that way returned to the world the graces lost with the Eternal Father. I, step by step, walked with my Son along the path to Calvary. And I was at the foot of the Cross and saw how, little by little, His respiration came to an end and His death, with all its suffering, was at hand. I am the Sorrrowful Mother who comes to ask the world to amend your lives - to stop sinning, to return to Him. In these forty days and forty nights I desire that you walk with me, step by step, along the path to Calvary - that you may rejoice with me at the hour of His Resurrection. In these days, many will be tempted; they will be attacked in many ways by my adversary and many will fall into sin. Do not give up children. Know my enemy. Be strong. Receive my grace. Turn your eyes toward the Cross. Return quickly to confession and you will receive, with your sincere repentance, the absolution and the complete forgiveness of your sins. "Go and sin no more." Children, these days are days of grace. This year is a year of grace, of forgiveness. Return to God and do not look back. Rather, walk along the straight path toward the eternal salvation of your souls. Thank you for having accepted my message of this night. I bless you and love you with my Motherly Immaculate Heart. I give my motherly blessing to my beloved priests who helped me this night. May the peace of God Almighty be always with all of you. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
