The pure white lily in front of the Mother of God is a traditional symbol of her Immaculate purity.		 One of the recurring themes in the messages from Mary is individual and personal consecration to Her Immaculate Heart. She has given the following prayer to the prayer group several times, and requested that everyone regularly consecrate themselves to Her, most recently on September 12th, 2001.


Individual Prayer of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and tender Mother of all people, I consecrate myself to you and to your Immaculate Heart, and I recommend to you my family, my country, and the whole human race.   Please accept my consecration, dearest Mother, and use me as you wish, to accomplish your designs upon the world.   O Immaculate Heart, Queen of Heaven and Earth, rule over me, and teach me how to allow the heart of Jesus to rule and triumph in me and around me, as it has ruled and triumphed in you.   Amen


Another prayer of consecration was taught by the Blessed Mother to Jelena Vasilj in Medurgorje on 18 November 1983:

O most pure heart of Mary, full of goodness, show your love towards us. Let the flame of your heart, O Mary, descend on all people. We love you immensely. Impress on our hearts true love so that we may long for you.

O Mary, gentle and humble of heart, remember us when we sin. You know that all people sin. Grant that through your most pure and motherly heart, we may be healed from every spiritual sickness. Grant that we may always experience the goodness of your motherly heart, and that through the flame of your heart we may be converted. Amen.
