The answer is very simple, and is part of our core philosophy.   You most likely came here to obtain straightforward and concise information, and not to be inundated with flashy animation, graphic clutter, or hard-to-read fancy fonts.

So be it.

Although it is possible that those of you with a marketing background may think of it as "old fashioned", it is your webmasters belief that one should not have to dig through megabytes of hyperactive animated graphics to get to the information one wants - unnecessary clutter that does nothing but show just how cute the webmaster thinks he or she is and which incidentally slows down the folks that are on dialup connections.

Our web server logs show that over 80% of our viewers are running 800x600 graphics or better, Windows 98, 2000 or XP, and are on dialup connections.   We have optimized our web site for our audience.   All of the html language is hand edited for brevity (i.e. fast downloading).
